This past weekend, we raced at Webb Institute in Glen Cove, NY. On Saturday, A fleet was skippered by Robert Jarrett and crewed by Emily Pooley. B fleet was skippered by Declan McNamara with both Arul Duggimpudi and Archie Corpuz switching off as crew. The wind was light and the rain was persistent making for a day of light-wind tactical sailing. Notably, A fleet got a 3rd out of 8 boats in one of the races. We got through 2 and a half rotations to start with B fleet the following day.

On Sunday, the wind was slightly heavier as B fleet started the races for the day. We got another 2 and a half rotations in for a full 5 rotations. Overall, we came in last but had a ton of fun at the last regatta of the semester! This was Robert Jarrett’s last college regatta as he actually skipped commencement to go! The Rutgers Sailing Team would like to thank all of seniors that have sailed for us during their time at Rutgers.
