About RUASA

Our Mission

The purpose of the Rutgers Alumni Sailing is to promote and foster the sport of sailing within the Rutgers University community as well as around the State of New Jersey, with a particular emphasis on supporting the Rutgers University Sailing Team. Rutgers Alumni Sailing strives to provide access to the sport of sailing for all students of Rutgers University, introducing the sport to new sailors and supporting current athletes as they hone their sailing skills.

Membership

The membership of Rutgers Alumni Sailing is open to all alumni of Rutgers University without discrimination on the basis of gender, race, color, ethnicity, culture, religion, sexual orientation, gender expresssion or mental or physical disability. No alum interested in supporting the sport of sailing in the Rutgers University community or any activity related thereto may be denied membership for any reason except misconduct or non-payment of dues.
